Ramnee is an eighteen bedroom hotel set in leafy gardens adjacent to the impressive Grant Park with it's outstanding floral displays and sculptures that have gained Forres so many prestigious Scotland and Britain in Bloom awards and in 2009 the coveted Entente Florale Europe Gold Award.
Completed in 1907 for Richard Hamblin, this fine Edwardian mansion retains the arts and crafts features that give the house so much character and charm. The name “Ramnee” relates to the time he spent in India.
You will experience a warm and welcoming ambience complimented by courteous and attentive service delivered with an informality that allows you to fully relax and enjoy your stay at this family run hotel. Ramnee has been graded 4 star by Visitscotland.
Easy to find, Forres is a beautiful market town close to Findhorn Bay on the Moray coast, 30 minutes drive from Inverness Airport heading East towards Aberdeen.
